They live in your browser's local storage, in a single slot per game. That means: clear your site data (or use a private window, or a different device) and the save is gone, and anyone else playing in the same browser writes to the same slot. Supporters get a server-side copy that survives all of that.
No. Your saves stay exactly where they are — we don't delete them. You drop back to the free tier, so new progress stops syncing, but you can still download or export everything already stored, and it all comes straight back the moment you subscribe again.
